Its other variants include roast chicken or soy sauce chicken, which is one of Singapore’s best foods. It also has beautiful sauces, from premium dark soy sauce to chili with garlic and pounded ginger. The dips are an experience – and they are bound to make you think about Singapore and its offerings of Asian food. Hainanese chicken’s spices, smells, and textures are reminiscent of Singaporean cuisine. No wonder this dish has been hailed as Singapore’s national dish!
