Yesterday in Irving, Texas, 14-year-old MacArthur High School student Ahmed Mohamed was arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school that officials felt resembled a “hoax bomb.” He will not face charges, but officials took what they deemed were necessary precautions. President Obama took to Twitter to support the young man and has invited him to the White House.
