Currently, the corona virus is widespread in all countries. And now the Corona virus is spreading in our India too. The government has also appealed to the people to take care of cleanliness. Avoid going to a crowded place. Wash hands with soap and water. But it is not possible to find soap and water everywhere. Many times we are out of the house. Where soap, water cannot be found, Sanitizer proves to be very useful for cleaning hands. Soap and water is best for cleaning hands. But when we get stuck in a place where soap and water are not available, then Sanitizer is the second best option to clean hands, it kills all bacteria, and cleans hands.

Unless you have a store-bought hand sanitizer stock, you will have a hard time searching in store or online any time. Because by the time the online order is received, it will be too late. Due to the rapid spread of the corona virus, most vendors cannot meet the demand for hand sanitizers.

But the good news is that you can make your own sanitizer at home
You need just three ingredients to make an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

    What materials do you need?

Creating your own sanitizer is very easy and requires only a few ingredients: that are listed

First way of making sanitizer at home:

    1. Isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99% alcohol content)
    2. aloe vera gel
    3. An essential oil, such as tea tree oil or lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead

Add a mixture of alcohol and aloe vera gel in the ratio 2:1. This is the key to creating an effective, germ-proof hand sanitizer. This makes the alcohol content around 60 percent. According to the CDC Trusted source, this is the minimum amount required to kill most germs.

Second Way of making sanitizer at home:

    How to make hand sanitizer:

    what you’ll need:

    1. 3/4 cup of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent)
    2. 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
    3. 10 drops of essential oil, such as lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead

    1. Pour all ingredients into a bowl,
    2. Mix with a spoon and your mixture is ready
    3. Pour the contents into an empty bottle for easy use, and label it a “hand sanitizer”.

How to make Strong Hand Sanitizer?

It is similar to a sanitizer found in the market. You can call it a commercial version, but triclosan element is not found in it. So it is safe for your hands. If you live or work in a very dusty area then you should use it.

Material required to make this Sanitizer:

    1 tbsp rubbing alcohol
    1/2 teaspoon vegetable glycerin
    4 cups aloe vera gels
    10 drops Cinnamon Essential Oil
    10 drops T-Tree Essential Oil
    Dry water

    Method to Make:

To make this sanitizer, first mix glycerin and alcohol in aloe vera gel. Then add cinnamon essential oil to it. Tea tree oil has its own fragrance but if you want to make it more fragrant, then add drops of Lemongrass, Orange, Levanter and Peppermint to any essential oil in the mixture. After this, mix the with distilled water and fill it in a pumped bottle.

Where on the one hand, due to the mixture of alcohol and tea tree oil, the use of this sanitizer kills all the bacteria in the hands. At the same time, the palms become soft with the aloe vera gels found in it. Once you make it at home, you will never buy a sanitizer from the market.

    How to use hand sanitizer?

When using a hand sanitizer, keep in mind that you have to rub it in your skin until your hands dry. And, if your hands are greasy or dirty, you should first wash them with soap and water.

    Summary:

If you do not have soap and water. Hand sanitizer is an easy way to help prevent the spread of germs when soap and water are not available. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can help keep you safe and reduce the spread of novel coronaviruses.
