While Kanye West mulls his own presidential run in 2020, the rapper was on hand to assist in the fundraising efforts of the Democratic National Committee as West joined President Barack Obama at San Francisco’s the Warfield Theatre Saturday morning.
The event promised a musical performance by West, but first Obama warmed up the crowd by doling out some political advice for Kanye 2020. “Do you really think that this country is going to elect a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name to be president,” Obama quipped.
