No Bra Day or in other words, the World Day Without a bra was first celebrated in year 2011 on July 09. On that day some anonymous Women were invited not to wear a bra for 24 hours which was later followed by thousands of other women. The date was later changed to 13 October and according to a report in 2017, this day was observed in 30 Countries across the World.
No bra day is dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, to focus attention on prevention and encourage women to undergo regular checkups so that symptoms of breast cancer can be identified earlier.
The meaning given to October 13 i.e No Bra day has become increasingly more over time and many big celebrities have also joined this initiative.
